The New Zealand Tunnellers Website

About this website

On line since 2009, the New Zealand Tunnellers website is developed by Anthony Byledbal, PhD Student at the University of Artois, Arras, France.

Anthony Byledbal

As part of his research he is working on the history of the New Zealand Engineers Tunnelling Company and the men who composed this special unit. His study contains a prosopographic study, including a short biography of each man of the Tunnelling Company. Prosopography is defined as the study of careers, especially of individuals linked by family, economic, social, or political relationships.

This research includes the culture of war in connection with the social and military history of men before, during and after the Great War.

Texts and ressources on this website are based on a research work in archives to find the history of the New Zealand Engineers Tunnelling Company.

Thanks to respect this work.

Acknowledgments
